Lay Summary Hydroxy and organic trace mineral blends (HOTM) are increasingly used as alternatives to conventional inorganic trace minerals (ITM). This study compared ITM and HOTM at different supplementation levels in weaned piglets. Diets containing HOTM improved growth performance, nutrient digestibility, bone mass, and intestinal tight-junction gene expression compared with ITM. Low-level HOTM supplementation enhanced antioxidant capacity and immune function. These results demonstrate that HOTM can effectively replace inorganic trace minerals in piglet diets, supporting both growth and overall health.
