RETRACTION NOTICE (March 2026) This paper has been retracted by the author. The central claim that Euclidean calibration is the industry standard for quantum computing is incorrect. Modern quantum computing calibration uses randomised benchmarking and cycle benchmarking, not state tomography with density matrix averaging. The Raychaudhuri equation connection to calibration error scaling contains a logical gap that has not been rigorously derived. The Bures metric mathematics is correct but the application to quantum computing calibration does not address a problem that exists in current practice. This retraction notice replaces the original publication.
