In the context of implementing the updated Federal Scientific and Technical Program for the Development of Agriculture for 2017–2030, particular emphasis is placed on the development of domestic agricultural machinery and equipment. One of the key areas of the corresponding subprogram is the development and implementation of innovative technical solutions aimed at improving the efficiency, sustainability, and technological independence of the agro-industrial sector. In this regard, the integration of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) into the system of agricultural machinery is gaining relevance as an effective approach to reducing import dependence and enhancing the technological level of agricultural production. This study is focused on the formulation of methodological foundations for such integration based on the principles of system-based mechanization, modularity and compatibility, energy efficiency, and digitalization, fully consistent with the objectives and implementation mechanisms of the Federal Scientific and Technical Program.
