Does axial orientation improve the reproducibility of right ventricular volume measurements compared to short axis orientation using steady-state free precession MRI?
Axial orientation yields better reproducibility than short axis orientation for right ventricular volume measurements using steady-state free precession MRI.
There is a significant systematic difference between volumes measured using the two different orientations. The axial orientation resulted in better inter- and intraobserver reproducibility.
