This chapter reflects on one experience of teaching synodality to those in formation for priesthood, using synodality as a basis for core subjects of Ecclesiology and Ministry. Drawing on three years of this engagement, it outlines the range of cultures of the students, raises the need for women to participate in seminary formation, outlines the methods of teaching and the responses of students to this approach, and concludes with some hopes for EWA to take a lead in engaging with local churches on this issue.
