Abstract This study analyzes a documentary record from the Capoeira Angola Sports Center in Salvador during the 1960s, highlighting the unique presence of student number 113, whose image was recorded and institutionally validated, but left without nominal identification. The study proposes the authorial concept of protected visibility, understood as a form of recognized presence in contexts marked by gender and racial inequalities, where exposure is limited to safeguard identity and ensure belonging. The methodology combines documentary and iconographic analysis, linking the record to the relational ethics of Capoeira Angola. The analysis is based on Gonzalez (2020), the philosophy of Mestre Pastinha, and Quijano's (2005) perspective on the coloniality of power. The results indicate that the anonymity of number 113 does not mean erasure, but a strategy of protection and insertion in the roda (capoeira circle), showing how visibility and anonymity are articulated as situated forms of persistence. Resumo Este estudo analisa um registro documental do Centro Esportivo de Capoeira Angola, em Salvador, na década de 1960, destacando a presença singular da aluna nº 113, cuja imagem foi registrada e validada institucionalmente, mas sem identificação nominal. Propõe-se o conceito autoral de visibilidade protegida, compreendido como forma de presença reconhecida em contextos marcados por desigualdades de gênero e raça, na qual a exposição é limitada para resguardar identidade e garantir pertencimento. A metodologia combina análise documental e iconográfica, articulando o registro à ética relacional da capoeira Angola. Fundamenta-se em Gonzalez (2020), na filosofia de Mestre Pastinha e na perspectiva da colonialidade do poder de Quijano (2005). Os resultados indicam que o anonimato da Nº 113 não representa apagamento, mas estratégia de proteção e inserção no espaço da roda, revelando como visibilidade e anonimato se articulam como formas situadas de permanência.
