The work studies the possibility of applying the Eulerian approach to investigate the near field aerodynamics of aero-suspension with low water content in the carrying gas flow. The problem of a cube being flowed by an air suspension is considered. The approximate solution of the obtained system of equations is constructed by the finite volume method in space and the Euler method in time using the multiphaseEulerFoam module included in OpenFOAM. The peculiarities of aerodynamics of dry aero-suspension at flowing around of a smooth cube are investigated by methods of mathematical modeling. The lower bound of applicability of the Euler approximation is estimated. It is shown that the use of this approach for numerical modeling of the dynamics of two-phase flows with a second phase content below 1 % at low flow rates (without making changes to the initial system of equations and upgrading numerical schemes and algorithms) is not advisable.
