MARCH1 Deletion Attenuates HFpEF by Promoting Adipose Beiging
Key Points
The study aims to explore the effects of MARCH1 deletion on heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and its potential therapeutic implications.
Assessed MARCH1 inhibition in a HFpEF model
Evaluated anti-fibrotic effects
Analyzed the promotion of adipose tissue beiging
MARCH1 deletion reduced fibrosis in heart tissues
Enhanced WAT (white adipose tissue) beiging observed
Proposed KLF15 as a potential therapeutic target alongside MARCH1
Abstract
Our study highlights the positive anti-fibrotic and WAT beiging effects of MARCH1 inhibition in the setting of HFpEF. Targeting MARCH1 and KLF15 might serve as novel therapeutic options for HFpEF.
