The majority of the time, a sizable amount of mining-related raw material is left in the pile area as a raw material after mineral extraction. Its trait of being a mineral that has no future use is what makes it unique. Minerals such as magnetite, zircon, limonite, silica sand, thermite, amethyst, and others are primarily found in this trash. Such mines create lake-like conditions in areas that adversely affect the environment, and if human settlements are close to them, humans are harmed and animals die. The once-flat lands are considered death traps, as they are filled with radioactive materials that have been greatly enhanced by mineral processing, thus adversely affecting the environment. Water used for irrigation and residential purposes today may be polluted by the mine ponds left behind by previous mining activities, lowering the quality of drinking water.52
