We report the 18 F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography findings in a 40-year-old woman who was referred to our department with a suspicion of inflammatory bowel disease. The incidental findings of hypermetabolism in muscles of bilateral forearms, hands, legs, and bilateral feet due to walking about and wringing of hands by the patient during the uptake period postinjection are reminiscent of the forearm bracelets and boots worn by Wonder Woman, a fictional comic character, as part of her Amazonian armour.
