This study qualitatively examines sustainable design and construction methodologies in four multistory hospitality projects executed in Ecuador. The research employs content analysis of project documentation to delineate essential areas of sustainable integration, namely, water, energy, materials, and spatial, design and investigates their application in hotel buildings. The results show that people often employ local materials, collect rainwater, and use passive design techniques to make buildings more energy efficient and comfortable inside. These elements of sustainability are becoming more popular in hotel design. Recent projects highlight diverse sustainable approaches, like using local materials, energy-efficient systems, and rainwater harvesting. Instead of measuring performance, the study gives a general idea of how sustainability concepts are being used in Ecuadorian hotels. The design characteristics and the construction strategies that multi-story buildings in the hospitality industry are using in the current context. This helps us understand how things are done now and what may be better in the hospitality industry.
