This Technical Brief defines how the Global Governance & Policy Alliance (GGPA) interprets and implements each applicable provision of Ghana's Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992) in its daily operations as an organisation registered under the Incorporated Trustees provisions of Ghanaian law. The Standard presents a six-provision Act 992 Compliance Matrix covering: Section 114 (Registration and name full registered name on all institutional documents), Section 126 (Annual Returns filed with Registrar-General's Department), Section 282 (Accounting Records maintained for minimum 6 years), Section 283 (Financial Statements prepared annually meeting Ghana Financial Reporting Standards), Section 302 (Meetings and Minutes duly convened, minuted, and approved), and Section 195 (Conflict of Interest declarations completed annually with recusal from affected decisions). The Brief also presents GGPA's seven-item Act 992 Audit Readiness Checklist administered annually by the Board Audit Committee, and the GGPA Act 992 Certification framework published in the Annual Governance Report. Grounded in Act 992 itself, Registrar-General's Department guidance, and GGPA Compendium Volume IX §§87–104 (Regulatory Compliance Architecture). Part of the GGPA Technical Core suite and should be read alongside the Master Operational Policy Framework (GGPA-COMP-2026-MF00).
