The study investigated the digestibility of dietary nutrients and the nitrogen, calcium, and phosphorus balance in pigs under the influence of the enterosorbent additive “Vitacorm REO-M” during a balance trial. The research demonstrated a positive effect of “Vitacorm REO-M”, administered at different inclusion levels in the experimental diets, on the digestibility of all major nutrients. The coefficients of nutrient digestibility were higher in all experimental groups compared to the control. Regarding mineral utilization, pigs from the second experimental group exceeded the control by 12,59% for calcium retention and by 16,78% for phosphorus retention. These results indicate that the inclusion of the enterosorbent additive “Vitacorm REO-M” in the diets of young pigs enhances the deposition of essential minerals (calcium and phosphorus) in the body and improves overall nutrient digestibility — a key factor contributing to higher productivity in growing pigs.
