This thesis examines the conceptual-semantic meaning of ecological discourse in English from the perspective of modern cognitive linguistics and ecolinguistics. The study is based on the assumption that ecological discourse is not limited to the literal description of environmental phenomena, but also functions as a conceptual and evaluative system through which speakers interpret nature, climate change, pollution, biodiversity, and environmental crisis.
