The Iraqi political system faces significant challenges in ensuring its legitimacy, with performance and effectiveness playing a crucial role in strengthening or undermining this legitimacy. In light of the security, economic, and political challenges facing Iraq, it is crucial to study the impact of government performance and political effectiveness on the legitimacy of the Iraqi political system. This research aims to explore the relationship between government performance, political effectiveness, and the legitimacy of the Iraqi political system, analyze the factors influencing this relationship, and provide recommendations for strengthening the legitimacy of the Iraqi political system by improving performance and effectiveness.
