NORTH KOINE’ is a real-time, multisensory installation that redefines touch as a distributed, collective, and mediated experience. The project translates texts by Nordic and British writers, composers, and singers (e.g., Knut Hamsun, George Orwell, Edvard Grieg, ABBA) into real-time multisensory stimuli, including granular audio, tactile pinches, dynamic lighting, and olfactory cues. Four participants interact barefoot on soft mats, while a live projection broadcasts their experience to a waiting audience of 20+ people. The audience’s reactions are captured and reintegrated into the system via a recursive feedback loop, creating a shared, ephemeral experience archived as video traces. This dataset includes visual and technical documentation to support the VIS – Nordic Journal for Artistic Research submission.
