Investment activity of Chinese companies in the Russian industrial sector

This article is devoted to the analysis of the dynamics of accumulated direct investments of Russia and China for the period 2011-2023. And the identification of factors influencing Chinese investments on the Russian economy. The author of the article analyzed the dynamics of Chinese foreign investments for 2020-2023 and identified the most significant factors influencing them during this period. Chinese investments are not just a financial flow, but a strategic tool capable of significantly transforming the Russian economy in the current realities. Proper use of Chinese investments will allow Russia not only to strengthen its economic security, but also to create new opportunities for growth, diversification and increased competitiveness. At the same time, it is important to remember the need to diversify sources of investment and build a balanced economic policy that takes into account the interests of all parties. The results of the study allow us to draw a conclusion about the prospects for further Russian-Chinese economic cooperation and further actions to strengthen economic interaction. The factors of influence of Chinese investments for stabilizing the Russian economy and increasing its resilience to external challenges are identified.
