Human nature had always been driven by a desire for innovation and the incorporation of human traits into physical objects. Following the development of the idea of artificial intelligence, from its earliest origins in the ancient period to its final realization in the form of modern algorithmic artificial intelligence as we know it today, it is undeniable that it has already had an enormous impact on both individuals and society as a community that is govern by the law. The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence is altering legal concepts and foundations that have been established so far. As a phenomenon that is still not fully regulated yet, and that has already and is currently causing society to experience completely new and previously unseen consequences, observing it in a new and controversial way is a necessity. Thus, in the paper, the authors will highlight the legal theories and premises associated with artificial intelligence and engage in a discussion about the problem that the modern society necessarily imposes, which is whether artificial intelligence should be granted legal subjectivity or not?
