키노사린-2(1H)-온의 C(sp2)–H 티오에테르화에 대한 전기화학적 방법이 보고되었다. 다양한 키노사린-2(1H)-온이 금속 및 화학 산화제 없는 조건에서 매끄럽게 이 티오에테르화 반응을 진행하였으며, 3-알킬티올 치환된 키노사린-2(1H)-온을 중간에서 높은 수율로 제공하였다.
