This report details the results of archaeological observation, investigation, recording, analysis and publication (OIRAP) carried out by University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) at Sherwood, School Lane, Peatling Magna, Leicestershire. The work was undertaken between 16th September 2024 on behalf of Sally Atkins in advance of construction of a new garage and associated works on the site. Archaeological attendance and recording were undertaken during the groundworks. The works revealed a uniform deposit of brick rubble overlying remnants of a truncated garden soil and natural clay. The mixed character of the garden soil reflected the use of that area of the site as drive way. No archaeology was present. Checked as sterile archive
