The paper aims to reveal manifestation aspects of meta-linguistic consciousness by the material of Internet users’ commentaries on a statement of Novosibirsk political figure Anatoly Lokot. Scientific originality of the research involves meta-linguistic and linguo-personalogical approaches to analysing political Internet commentaries as secondary texts of a non-professional linguistic personality. The findings indicate that in the analysed textual material, the evaluative aspect of meta-linguistic consciousness prevails, the comparative aspect is the second most frequent.
