A transparent, four-mechanism fire suppressant liquid composition is described. The formulation combines nano-scale colloidal silica gel suspension (5–50 nm), a film-forming polymer (polyvinyl alcohol or sodium alginate), endothermic hydroxide particulates (aluminium hydroxide, optionally magnesium hydroxide), and a carbonate oxygen-displacement agent (potassium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate) in an aqueous glycol carrier with non-ionic surfactant. Upon spray application to a surface, the composition provides concurrent evaporative cooling, endothermic heat absorption, carbon dioxide oxygen displacement, and post-drying transparent oxygen-barrier film formation. The composition is optically transparent at all stages. All components are non-toxic, biodegradable, and sourced from commodity supply chains.
