Abstract

An extensive examination of the dielectric properties of water at microwave frequencies has been made. The results have been fitted to various functions which have been derived from the Cole and Cole dispersion equation and it is concluded that the relaxation process in water is characterized by a narrow spectrum of relaxation times.
