Recent advances in artificial intelligence have enabled text-to-speech systems capable of generating humanlike narration. This study explores their use for producing recorded video lectures on common general-chemistry concepts. A total of 60 short lectures were created using AI voice synthesis tools and implemented in courses employing flipped and blended teaching approaches. Student performance, viewing data, and feedback were analyzed to assess the learning effectiveness and user experience. The results suggest that AI-generated lectures can support student learning and are perceived as particularly useful when used as supplementary resources, alongside live teaching.
