Acetaminophen is one of the most common over‐the‐counter (OTC) medications taken for relief of fever and pain, including minor discomforts during pregnancy. It is also associated with little risk of dose‐related toxicity, outside of hepatotoxicity from a significant amount of ingestion over a limited time of one to two days.
