We study a model of coupled limit-cycle oscillators that was introduced in order to model the synchronization observed in the firing of mammalian cortical cells. This Brief Report is devoted to the study of a time-delayed feedback. We show, by both numerical simulations and analytical arguments, that the delay has a desynchronizing influence on the oscillations.
