Academic institutions are places where three fundamental constituent groups consisting of academic personnel, students and administrative staff interact extensively. In academia, the interactions of individuals, either from the same constituent group or from different groups, are expected to follow high ethical standards. This study compiles the ethical principles, responsibilities, and codes of conduct applicable to the interaction of individuals who are educating, being educated, or working at academic institutions.
