Assessment of the impact of proposed works on surrounding Heritage Assets It is proposed to construct an agricultural building in a field to the east of two Grade II Listed Buildings - Dunton Hall and the Pigeon house. Part of Dunton hall is currently used as a house, whilst another part is used as a shop. The Pigeon house is vacant. The proposed development will have no negative impact on the two listed buildings. Any impact will be positive in that it will provide some screening between the Heritage Assets and the HS2 railway. When considering the impact of the substantial earthworks which will be undertaken as part of the construction of the HS2 railway line adjacent to the development area, in comparison, there will be little negative impact on the setting of two Listed Buildings (Dunton Hall and the Pigeon house) caused by the construction of the agricultural building.
