Fifty-eight trenches were opened mechanically under archaeological supervision and potentially archaeological features investigated by hand. The trenches mainly revealed only modern feature. One ditch contained a tiny scrap of what might be Bronze Age pottery and a flint flake; a Mesolithic blade was as unstratified find.
