Abstract The article presents information on the submission to and processing of manuscripts by the journal "Issues in Accounting Education." At least two individuals review each manuscript that is submitted to the journal. The editorial board, augmented by the service of occasional reviewers, completed the assessment of 120 manuscripts, including the disposition of 80 manuscripts received in prior years. The final acceptance rate for the 1990-91 year remained at 15.9 percent. Final decisions on papers outstanding from the 1991-1992 year reached a final acceptance rate for that year of 18 percent. Manuscripts for the 1992-93 year achieved an acceptance rate of 19 percent, up from 16.9 percent rate in 1994 when slightly more than a fifth of the submissions remained in process. The 1993-1994 year reached an acceptance rate of 10 percent with almost a quarter of the submissions still outstanding. There was a relative increase in the number of articles submitted. The Instructional Resource category decreased from over 29 percent of the submissions in 1994 to 15 percent in 1995.
