Low back pain is the leading cause of years lived with disability worldwide. Its management requires a multidisciplinary approach involving close collaboration between different healthcare professionals. Interventional pain management represents an important treatment component in carefully selected patients. The main challenge is to identify the specific origin of low back pain in order to propose an appropriate therapeutic strategy. Pain management centers allow for the integration of multimodal and multidisciplinary approaches, thereby enabling the development of an individualized treatment plan for each patient.
