In the context of water scarcity, effective water resource management has become a priority for sustainable agricultural development. This study examines the Aral Sea region, where ecological degradation and inefficient irrigation systems have negatively impacted agricultural productivity over the past four decades. The research is based on a statistical analysis and evaluation of irrigation infrastructure and institutional management practices. Outdated irrigation networks lead to significant water losses, reducing water use efficiency in some irrigated areas by nearly 25–30%. Hydrographic water distribution and modern irrigation management systems can significantly improve water productivity and agricultural sustainability.
