The purpose of this study was to verify the concentration of asbestos and other fibers generated during cutting and related work with power tools, and to evaluate the effectiveness of dust suppression measures. The research also aimed to provide insights for safer renovation and demolition practices to prevent asbestos exposure. Experiments, including cutting tests, were conducted in an isolated curing area using asbestos-containing finishing coating materials, slate boards, and type 1 calcium silicate boards. The level of asbestos fiber release was measured and compared with findings from previous studies.
