To evaluate the clinical outcomes of nephrectomy performed due to renal mass. Cases of nephrectomy performed due to renal mass at the Samsun University Urology Department between 2015 and 2024 were assessed retrospectively through our database. The patients’ sociodemographic characteristics, pre- and postoperative clinical parameters, surgical techniques, pathology findings, and complications were recorded. One hundred seventy-seven patients with a mean age of 62.84 ± 12 years, 61.6% of whom were men, were included in the study. Radical nephrectomy was performed in 62.7% of cases, and partial nephrectomy in 37.3%. Laparoscopic surgical techniques were applied in 67% of the cases. The mean tumor size was 5.41 ± 2.91 cm, mean operative time was 172.18 ± 75.28 min, mean length of hospitalization was 6.42 ± 4.27 days, and time from diagnosis to treatment was 52.37 ± 5.21 days.
