Abstract

This study aimed to assess the trends in contribution of neuroradiologists as clinician-scientists advancing research through NIH-funded research. Between 2012 and 2025, neuroradiologists accounted for 29.2% of principal investigators in radiology, 33.6% of grants and 41.1% of cumulative funding to all clinician-scientists in radiology. Neuroradiology lead across all funding metrics of NIH-funded research in radiology.
