The Aek Sijorni Natural Bath in South Tapanuli Regency holds significant potential to become a prominent regional tourism destination, known for its tiered waterfalls and unique natural atmosphere. Despite its natural appeal, the area has not yet reached its full tourism development potential. This study aims to develop a model for optimizing tourism development at Aek Sijorni by emphasizing sustainability, the use of technology, and local community participation. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining qualitative and quantitative data to analyze the current conditions of the area. The study's findings suggest that the development of Aek Sijorni should prioritize improvements in basic infrastructure, such as roads, electricity, and water supply. Enhancing the cleanliness of the area and ensuring its maintenance are critical to preserving the natural beauty of the site. In addition, the provision of recreational and dining facilities would improve the visitor experience and extend the stay of tourists. These factors are essential for making the site more attractive to a broader audience and ensuring a steady flow of visitors. Moreover, the findings indicate that strengthening digital promotion through social media and online platforms is vital for reaching potential visitors. An active digital presence would raise awareness of Aek Sijorni and its offerings, both regionally and nationally. Furthermore, local community participation plays a central role in the long-term success of the destination. Involving the community in decision-making processes and tourism activities fosters a sense of ownership and ensures the sustainability of the development. The study concludes that multi-stakeholder collaboration, combining local communities, government, and private sectors, along with the integration of information technology, is the key to creating a competitive and sustainable tourism destination that brings both economic and social benefits to the surrounding areas.
