ABSTRACT 304 stainless steel is widely used as tower packing in the chemical industry, but its application remains challenging in the purification and separation processes of high‐purity systems containing strongly corrosive media. Silanization has been proposed as a novel surface treatment technology for tower packing, can enhance corrosion resistance and improve selective separation performance for specific systems. The optimal processing conditions for silanization with KH570 were determined, significantly improving the packing's corrosion resistance. The results demonstrate that the separation efficiency of the KH570‐modified packing for the methylcyclohexane–n‐heptane and chlorobenzene‐ethylbenzene systems increased by approximately 7%–12%, offering greater operational flexibility. Furthermore, the preliminary application of silanization technology to the surface treatment of stainless steel packing was investigated using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDS) and x‐ray photoelectron spectrometer (XPS).
