This study investigates the mass-radius evolution and stability of the slowly rotating anisotropic pulsar J0348+0432 within the Krori-Barua spacetime in f(R, T) gravity. Rotational effects on stellar structure are examined using a modified Chaplygin gas equation of state with the linear form f(R, T) = R + 2ξT. The model supports the existence of supermassive neutron stars in the lower mass gap, consistent with NICER and gravitational-wave constraints and highlights the critical role of positive pressure anisotropy. Comparison with general relativity confirms physical consistency, stability and astrophysical viability.
