With the democratization of CAE, it has become an essential tool in the manufacturing industry. With the rapid development of generative AI, the importance of prompt engineering is increasing. Therefore, I considered that even people without the knowledge of computational mechanics could perform structural analysis by using prompt engineering with generative AI. In this research, I attempted structural analysis using prompt engineering and explored the possibilities of computational mechanics utilizing generative AI based on the results. Generative AI is not easily capable of performing accurate stress calculations, and the input prompt is important. By inputting prompts based on the finite element method, I was able to improve the accuracy of structural analysis results. To further enhance analytical precision, I also attempted analysis using prompts based on the advancing front method. Ultimately, we aim to build a system that connects generative AI with structural analysis software to realize the next-generation design environment.
