Aim: To compare tooth movement after PRP injection vs conventional method in moderate crowding (split-mouth). Methods: 50 patients; PRP injected on experimental side post extraction of maxillary first premolars; measurements at T0, T1 (21 d), T2 (42 d), T3 (63 d) with digital vernier caliper; paired t-test. Results: Significant acceleration at 21 days (p < 0.001); no significant difference at 42 and 63 days. Conclusion: PRP accelerates early orthodontic tooth movement (first 21 days) but effect dissipates thereafter.
