ABSTRACT One undescribed iridoid glucoside, (1 S ,5 R ,6 R ,8 S ,9 S ,7'' S )‐6'‐ O‐ 3‐(4‐hydroxyphenyl)‐3‐methoxypropionyl phlorigidoside B ( 1 ); one new diterpenoid glycoside, (3 S ,5 R ,7 R ,10 S ,15 S )‐7 α ‐methoxy‐12‐ O ‐ β‐D ‐glucopyranosyl‐3,11,16‐trihydroxyabieta‐8,11,13‐triene ( 2 ); and one new flavonoid glycoside pectolinarigenin 7‐ O ‐( β‐D ‐apiofuranosyl)‐(1→6)‐ β‐D ‐glucopyranoside ( 3 ), along with 21 known compounds ( 4–24) , were isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of Pseudocaryopteris foetida (D. Don) P.D. Cantino. Their structures were elucidated using one‐ and two‐dimensional NMR and high‐resolution electrospray ionization mass spectroscopy. Compounds 1 , 2 , 7 ‐ 12 , 16 , 17 , 20 , 23 , and 24 exhibited moderate anti‐inflammatory activity via the inhibition of NO production in LPS‐induced RAW 264.7 cells.
