Sulfurized polyacrylonitrile (SPAN) has garnered significant attention due to its exceptional compatibility with carbonate electrolytes. However, its practical application is hindered by sluggish redox kinetics resulting from high sulfur content. In this study, we address this challenge through a synergistic strategy: incorporating NiS 2 loading and selenium doping into SPAN. A nano‐sized NiSe 2 precursor is first synthesized via the hydrothermal method. Characterization results reveal that NiSe 2 is successfully transformed into NiS 2 via in situ sulfurization and uniformly dispersed within the SPAN matrix, while selenium atoms are effectively doped into short sulfur chains. This dual modification significantly enhances the electrical conductivity and lithium storage capacity of the cathode material. NiS 2 facilitates the adsorption and catalytic conversion of Li 2 S n through strong polar interactions, and selenium doping increases the electron cloud density while reducing reaction energy barriers. Finally, NiS 2 ‐SeSPAN‐2 cathode delivers a high initial discharge capacity of 1112.8 mAh g −1 at 0.5 A g −1 with 94.43% capacity retention after 150 cycles and maintain 83.99% retention after 500 cycles at 1 A g −1 with an exceptionally low decay rate of 0.032% per cycle. UV–vis analysis confirms substantially reduced polysulfide generation compared to pristine SPAN.
