This registration describes a retrospective observational cohort study evaluating surgical quality indicators and long-term oncologic outcomes in patients undergoing curative-intent colorectal cancer surgery at a tertiary referral center in Mexico. The aim of the study is to characterize institutional surgical performance and long-term outcomes using real-world clinical data and to contextualize these findings within contemporary colorectal cancer literature. Data were retrospectively extracted from institutional electronic medical records covering the period between January 2010 and December 2024. Variables include demographic characteristics, tumor staging, surgical margin status, lymph node assessment, postoperative complications, recurrence patterns, and overall survival. Given the retrospective secondary data design, this registration was completed after data collection and descriptive analyses had already been finalized. The purpose of this registration is to enhance transparency and provide a structured methodological record rather than represent a prospective hypothesis-driven preregistration. All analyses follow a descriptive framework consistent with STROBE recommendations for observational studies. This project aims to contribute real-world institutional evidence on colorectal cancer surgery in a tertiary referral environment and to support future quality improvement initiatives and comparative outcome evaluation.
