Abstract This study aimed to evaluate the serum concentrations of the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K in cattle naturally infected with Theileria annulata. A total of 20 cattle of different ages, breeds, and sexes were included in the study; ten were infected animals and ten served as healthy controls. Blood samples were collected for microscopic diagnosis and serum separation. Serum levels of retinol (vitamin A), cholecalciferol (vitamin D₃), α-tocopherol (vitamin E), and phylloquinone (vitamin K₁) were measured. The results revealed significant decreases in vitamins A, D, and E in infected cattle compared to the control group (P 0.05), while vitamin K₁ levels were not significantly affected. These findings suggest that T. annulata infection may lead to deficiencies in specific fat-soluble vitamins, potentially impairing immune function. Monitoring and supplementation of these vitamins, when necessary, may help support recovery in infected animals.
