Change Management and Strategic Transformation are critical for sustaining organizational competitiveness, particularly in dynamic and technology-driven business environments. In South-East Nigeria, many business organizations face challenges in implementing effective change initiatives due to resistance, weak leadership, and misaligned organizational culture. This study examined the influence of leadership, organizational culture, and employee engagement on strategic transformation in business organizations in South-East Nigeria. A descriptive survey research design was adopted, and data were collected from 400 managers, team leaders, and employees directly involved in organizational change initiatives using a structured questionnaire titled Change Management and Strategic Transformation Questionnaire (CMSTQ), of which 372 responses were valid for analysis. The instrument yielded a reliability coefficient of 0.89. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Spearman Rank Order Correlation Coefficient at a 0.05 level of significance. Findings revealed that leadership, organizational culture, and employee engagement each significantly influence strategic transformation. Specifically, effective leadership provides direction and aligns resources, supportive organizational culture fosters adaptability and collaboration, and active employee engagement reduces resistance while promoting innovation. The study concludes that structured change management, underpinned by strong leadership, aligned culture, and engaged employees, is essential for successful strategic transformation and enhanced organizational performance in South-East Nigerian business organizations. Recommendations include leadership development, employee participation programs, and culture alignment initiatives to optimize transformation outcomes.
