Durham, N. C. is near the center of the southeastern endemic area and over 50 cases have been studied in the Duke clinic in the past 18 years.Approximately 45 per cent of the infections were confined to the skin, 45 per cent invaded the internal organs and, in 10 per cent, both the skin and internal organs were involved.The prognosis seems to depend, at least in part, upon the immunologic...Bibliography1.
