A new trinor-guaiane type sesquiterpene, named dictamnol (1), and a steroid, pregnenolone (2), were isolated from Dictamnus dasycarpus TURCZ. On the basis of physicochemical evidence, the structure of dictamnol have been elucidated as 8α-methyl-2-methylene-1α, 7α-dicyclo3.5.0dex-5-en-8β-ol.
