SUMMARY.— Pyogenic granuloma is a common lesion which seldom arouses much concern. The eruption of multiple angiomatous satellites around the site of a recently treated pyogenic granuloma is a rare and alarming occurrence. Eleven such cases are reported and the literature is reviewed. The clinical and histological features of the recurrent lesions are described. The recurrences run a benign course and there is no evidence that the satellites are metastases. The pathogenesis of pyogenic granuloma is considered in relationship to other connective tissue proliferative conditions and the control of the microcirculation.
