Abstract This research deals with career planning and managing and is concentrated on the organizational point of view. The examination focuses on the role which organizational career planning and managing plays in increasing organizational effectiveness. The findings indicate the existence of connections between organizational characteristics and organizational outcomes, with organizational career planning and managing as a mediating variable. The outcomes consist of objective measures, management and environment perceptions and employees' attitudes towards the organization.
