Four X-ray sources from the Einstein Galactic Plane Survey are identified here with faint CVs. These CVs have apparent V magnitudes between 17.5 and 19, making them faint both optically and in X-rays compared with other CVs. One CV, 1E 0830.9 - 2238, is probably an AM Herculis-type magnetic variable. The other three CVs appear to be standard nonmagnetic CVs with very low accretion rates. It is suggested that low accretion rate CVs may be very common.
